knuckle head shock towers

It seems to be the general idea that the racer x shocks are the best upgrade shocks to get. I have the duratraxx mt shocks and they work fine but I want to loose some weight and go with four shocks. Do I have to get new shock towers other them my rpm's if so are there other kinds that will work beside supermaxx. Maybe gorilla maxx or maybe the flm's???? Any help would be appriciated

I'm running RPM shock towers & 4 racer X shocks.. I had to make the shocks slightly shorter than what was adviced in the instructions that came with the shocks.

how did you make them shorter? Also, did you take a hit on performance??? Thanks for the reply

Personly, I would go with the Knuckle heads anayway, they are great, and will give you a lot of adjustibility.
