I have Fastlane rar a arm mounts, and they work good. They can be bought other places, but I got them from rcdiscounts.com along with my shocktowers. The whole order was only 55 dolars, but then there was 20 DOLLAR SHIPPING!!! AAHHH I was desperate so I just bought it, the total would have been the same as RD anyway.
My Nitro Rusty: Fastlane aluminum front and rear shock towers and a-arm mounts, RPM rear a-arms, Reedy Reciever Pack, XTM failsafe, dirt hawgs in back (plz dont get these), alum shock caps all around. Brand new TRX 2.5: Installed 3/6/04!!!

If you ask nicely Jamie at Fast Lane will let you buy directly from him for a 4 dollar shipping charge.

I asked him after I told rcdiscounts where they can put thier 20 dollar shipping charge.

    Use this link

Just email him and tell him what parts you want to order and that you'd like to pay via paypal.

I've placed three seperate orders from him like this. I need to order the front a-arms and caster blocks from him. I've been spending my extra $$$ on a TC I bought.

Im defense of Roy, and the the rest of RD, I would assume that they were up to thier ears in back orders and mistakes do happen. I don't think that he would leave anyone out intentionally, and I would imagine that he took care of you and got your parts right out after you contacted him about the problem. To me, they have product well worth the wait. You just have to be patient. I have just waited until the website showed that they had the parts in stock again, I ordered them, and received both of my orders within 3 days. My first order was CF upper chassis, and both CF shock towers, my second was aluminum lower chassis, rear bearing carriers and rear A arm mounts. Both orders were to me sooner than expected. My third will be front and rear a arms as soon as available..Worth the wait in my opinion. Besides, this will give me time to get the new lower chassis polished up real shiney like!!!

I would like to reply to this thread, but my opinion would be biased.

I will say, and this is global, that mistakes do happen. It doesn't matter what company it is, they happen. I couldn't tell you how long it took me to get my software from a very well known company, but guess what? I still use their software and I am sure most of the people here do (sans you mac folk).

Either way, if your mom won't let you buy from them then may you should go to another company. Hopefully it won't happen to you again.

As for replacement parts, I am sure that most companies (after market parts) have a replacement type deal. It may not be published, but if you ask them they will fix you up and do it right. The last company I dealt with was SSRC. I got some adapters for my buggy, they were too small for the shafts. I thought I would be cool and drill them out. It messed them up bad. So, I emailed them and they sent me new ones after I returned the old ones. That isn't published on their site, but that is what they did for me.

All you have to do is email them or call them, they will fix it.

    I still vote RD.
Apparently my opinion differs from your opinion. However, you don't have to be mean about it.

I love the RD Racing parts. Roy always ships my items within 2-3 days and the parts are fabulous. I don;t see why your parents won't let you buy from him

RD will take checks and money orders. You just have to call or email them.
