Masher 2000s. Those Road hawgs aren't gonna hold traction at all for you with a 2.5 in it.

Project wide n beefy suspension like me and klitch use ($20 - $30)
23 tooth clutch bell for the 2.5
    Teflon sealed ball bearings
    Weedwacker engine (heh...)
New body, an airbrush to paint it with, and a few 2/3 ounce jars of Pactra lacquer paint to put on the body.

invest it all into one awesome thing, like be the first to actually make a dual engine pede. Alot of people including myself have made plans and stuff but have never gotten around to it. Or drop a 2 speed in there

Nobody ever puts dual engines on something and keeps the gearing the same. You need a REALLY high gearing for that.

    Lightbulb

You can get some nice aluminum rims from RC Parts but that will be $80 for 4 rims.

I don't like the idea of spending that much on wheels, and aluminum wheels are a lot heavier then plastic...rotating mass = bad. I've built my npede mostly for speed so thats a big thing to me.

If you're worried about breaking wheels (uhh....), then get some RPM ones, they have a lifetime guarantee, and they look really cool.

Personally i like the traxxas dyeable lite dished wheels. They look a LOT like real monster truck wheels. (Ever notice that...they're always deep offset, and a dished style..and usually painted to match the trucK)

Maybe you should invest in GOOD m/t tires (Masher 2000!...all terrain!).
