    hitec 645mg question

I just installed the 645mg servo and also purchased a Kimbrough servo saver. What do you use to get the servo gear to properly mate with the servo saver. I installed the little black "hub" with internal and external teeth and it stripped out on the metal gear side after a two minute run.

With it stripped out the steering does not work

The Kimbrough servo savers come with 3 inserts on a sprue. The one in the middle of the sprue, marked "H" on the sprue (not on the insert itself) is the one you need to use with HiTec servos. The other 2 inserts (marked "A" & "F") will not fit the servo properly & will easily be stripped if you try to use them.

    Thumbs up problem solved

Thanks so much. I put the insert that had the "H" and she works like a dream.

Perhaps Kimbrough should have put a small instruction sheet in the package!
