Clear out gas of motor, take out glowplug and turn over truck to get excess gas out of motor then put 2-3 drops in glow plug hole and 2 drops in carb turn motor over reinstall plug and your good. MAKE sure motor clean before doing any of this dirt can get in motor easy, someone may disagree with my method but it works

NO! That's not the proper way.
You need to BURN the fuel out of the motor, not turn it over to get it out. You empty the tank, run it till it dies, try to start it up, should run for a few seconds, keep trying to start it until it wont anymore. Take the filter off, put 2-3 drops of afterrun oil in, crank it over a few times, put a few more drops in. If you want you can do the same in the glow plug hole.
But if you're pouring the fuel out of the engine, your leaving residue behind which can corrode it up.

eddie, i highly doubt that anyone on this forum DOESN'T have a can of wd-40. I keep one in my pit box.
    1) Your supply of wd-40 that you use for everything that you have a reason not to use silicone spray lubricant on, lasts longer.
    2) The afterrun oil is thicker and sticks to the parts better.

    Lightbulb

All the hobbico red after run oil is, is car power steering fluid. Just buy some of that at the automotive store, it's much cheaper.

How do you know that? Sure it smells and looks the same, but it could be slightly different. I'm assuming it cant be so much different that power steering fluid wouldnt work though..

wd 40 is noy cheap at all man!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why i have a ported .15 engine that has 8 gallons of gas throw it and still has as much power as a .18 engine it was tested by hpi it self for 10 bucks but wd 4o is the best plus it flamible so it will help stat your engine allso if there is some left in the engine plus they will replace any parts damaged by the products. after run oil is expencive (sp) after a while but with wd 40 u get 5 times as much plus with after run oil it makes your engine harder to start after use of the oil

ok, from what I can understand.
    8 gallons?!!! that's a lot to still be comparasible to a .21

WD it is flammable....directly from the can, over night it won't really help that much

after run oil get's expensive overtime?!! how I got tha same bottle since I started this hobby 9 months ago, each and every single time I run my trucks each one gets the afeter-run procedure. and I bash almost every weekend ever since.

uh after run oil isnt expensive, i still have the same bottle i bought last year. i think shes 1.5 oz and ive still got plenty. just a couple drops does the job. wd40 works too, but i dont use it. i have but i dont like to. i like to use it on my owb though. but im getting off topic.
    after run oil is cheap.
wd-40 doesnt really help your engine fire up after its sat over night, granted it doesnt hamper it either.

i call tall tale on your .15 with 8 gallons having the same amount of power as a .18... man i shoulda made u do my tall tale story, your pretty good at making stuff up sometimes.
meh im done im gonna get the no no stick shaken at me.

I have heard from many sources that wd40 is not good for the inside of engine. So me personally prefer to use after oil but hey if you wanna use wd be my guest.
