Pirannha digital peak charger (3-amp wall-charge rate)
    SMC GP3300 NIMH (3 packs)
    Novak 5800 SS
    15/90 w/Masher2000

So far all of the above have performed very well. The end-bars on the battery packs get quite warm, but it hasn't been an issue. Deans connectors were an important mod.

It has some overheatinf issues. You must leave it under a fan and in a cool room. MY peak vision plus digital charger has a built in fan and does great.

cooldude, not trying to start an argument but.... Ballistic and promatch make very nice quality packs. They're also better becasue of how the cells are cycled. Many BB packs and PR packs are voltage enhanced, zapped, cycled a special way etc. just adding onto what you were saying.

I wish I had the pic Highlanduh does, of his CBP pack, where the connectors got so hot they melted through the shrink wrap. I'd say:

"Really, I don't think Ballistic's will do this:"

My $.02, cells don't make a battery, an assembler makes (or breaks, figuratively) a battery . Unfortunately, CBP doesn't make them well at all.
