    Help with Nitro Sport

So I am new with all of this, my father gave me the car, for me to have and work on etc, its really old and hasnt run in about 2-3 years! I cleaned everything out, and I currently have it all together, when I start it, the ez start just seems to turn, and a little air comes out of the exhaust.. I honestly dont even believe there is gas going into the carb, but when i take the line out of the carb and turn the car over, gas pours out... so what is the problem?

pull the needles out of the carb and blow some air through them then reset the needles back to factory setting and try again.
does the engine have any compression and does it turn over freely?

Okay so I just cleaned everything out, now when i go to start it with the remote the car just guns it! Almost like im starting it with the remote all the way pressed, even if the remote isnt on, it still starts going at full potential and starts to smoke

Before starting it, make sure all the mechanics are in order first. Make sure all servos operate, noting binding the drive system. Your specific problem sounds like either the carb is stuck at wide open throttle, or the servo is holding it at wide open throttle. Never ever ever start an RC with the remote off. With no signal telling the servos what position to be in, the will be at whatever position the were left in when shut down, or, won't go to their neutral position if they were knocked out of neutral.

Edit: here is a link to some nitro sport material
