Thumbs up Body cutting the easy way

I was not sure if I had posted this yet.

I had heard of this trick and just tried it out.
Instead of using scissors to cut out you new body, Just use a sharp exacto knife to score the outline and then peel the piece off at the seam. The piece will separate cleanly along the scored line. I did the whole body like this and the scrap lexan saparated perfectly in two whole pieces. You do not need to cut too deep into the plastic, just a nice sharp, firm scoring line is all it takes. You will not believe how easy and clean your new body will come out.

I have always used tin snips. Fast and clean also.

another way to do that is cut out the body, and use a power drill with a round sander to smooth the edges out.

Okay, you guys are missing the point. I cut out the entire body, wheel wells and all, in just over five minutes with ONE TOOL. A simple exacto knife.

And it is perfect. Absolutely perfect. No smothing, sanding shaving messing with it at all. It just comes out clean and perfect every single time in just a few minutes with no power tools or cutters.

    That is the point.

Try it out on a scrap of lexan and you will be amazed.
