    steering

    is the ball crank steering better then the stock sport steering if so y is it so much better because i keep striping the gears in my servo in the3 sport i want to know a way to make this stop with out spending $50 on a metal gear servo

    its partly because you are using a plastic geared servo..

    They just cant handle all the bumps n jumps of an offroad truck very well... also the direct steering on the sport puts a LOT of extra stress on your servo.. (its called bump steer)

    I installed a Hitec 625MG servo, and the sport never stripped another servo, however I changed my sport to a rustler for the better steering, and it has never felt better...
    Steering is more responsive, and the front end doesnt seem to "wander" as much over rough terrain...

    The cheapest metal gear servo for a truck, would be the Hitec 625MG .. at $39.99 you will never need to replace it again, and it will give far better steering feel due to the increased speed + torque..

    im with nitrorcracer all the way the best way is the metal servo its a lot less hassle changing over is hard work cos youll have to changet the upper chassis i think as well to acomidate the changed position of the servo

    does anyone have a metal gear servo they would like to sell to me for cheap or cheaper then a new if so that would be great
