I'm not sure about taxxas, but I want to work at Traxxas, lol. I honestly think I'm going into the military, I'd prefer to be a doctor though.

Pursue a rally racing career. But it would be awesome for me to be the test driver for anything with wheels, i remember on discovery channel, this one company, they test every car on the market in every possible way, even off-roading the car if necessary, and only one or 2 guys do it. I would love to be one of those guys.

I would probably be an R/C repair dude, Only I would get like 100 an hour...hey it's a dream job. I doubt that will happen around here though, not a huge market for R/C cars.

For those of you saying the Army I suggest going into the Air Force instead. I was in the Army and have dealt with the Air force, Navy, and Marines. The Air force treats their people a whole lot better. I have heard a lot of people say that the Coast guard is actually the best.

One of my friends has a dream job. He works for Brendan Shanahan, and Steve Yzerman. Steve is the captain, and brendan is the assistant captain for the detroit red wings. This kid gets tickets to just about every home game, including playoffs, cup finals, and game seven when we beat colorado for the cup. I would pay so much to have been there. He was there when McCarty beat the poo out of Claud lemuix (sp) for breaking chris Draper's jaw with a cheap shot. Anyway, being his friend, he's trying to hook me up with some tickets!

Id like to work in a bodyshop also, welding (I can actually weld resonably well lol, better than dad) and fiberglass work.

Tried a Aprentiship as a Technician at Mercedes Benz, good laugh with the guys but dont think its what I really want to do. I like jobs where you stand back, and say, "ahh yes" and take pride with your work. Dont get me wrong, as a Technician you can take pride with your work (well any job) but 50/50 your work goes unoticed from the customer.

Gonna give Bodywork courses a try at college next year anyways

Notice how most everybody's answer included working with cars or some other mechanical job. It just shows how mechanically inclined we rc guys are!

I consider myself to be in my dream job...

I am 23, work in downtown Richmond, VA for a state agency maintaining 7 in house applications and the Website. I also own a small software/web development company...waiting for the day it pays for all my bills...

I have an office with a 7th floor view of downtown and the James River...

    A 21" LCD monitor

And I make enough $$$ to support a house, two cars, a wife, 7 month old baby girl, a dog, new jacuzzi, 3 R/Cs and my younger brother.

Design / build custom vehicles -- big trucks, 4x4's, hotrods - I allready have the skill. The other one would be to own an R/C shop along with a track - dirt and asphalt.

    Cool

Being in a electronic and robotic engineer. Maybe working at Traxxas or Duratrax. Some r/c company close to Pa. Although I would move to texas to work at traxxas. An r/c company would be prefect because it is both electronic and a robotic engineering. Actualy I am going to start taking a class about electronics and robotics.

Jim, i like the last part. LOL. I already have my second dream job. Im a building engineer. My building are two complete city blocks, a total of 54 stories. My company pays for my gas, part of my rent, got a deal with the cable co. I let them run lines in the buildings. And i recieve free cable at home. Free cell phones, pagers. And most of the day, i just sit around and do nothing. Got to love it. I always wonder what a building engineer do. NOTHING. LOL. The developers build them and i fix them. Or if i dont feel like it. I just call someone else. My job goes unnotice, until someone gets stuck on the 40th floor in the elevators. Nothing like a hottie in distress, and u come to the rescue. One other benefit, women loves a man that can fix things and make them feel safe. And the money is great. God blessed me.

Careful what you wish for... I am a Linux administrator... You said it, "Pay is good but getting old stinks..." I think I have more grey hairs now than most people twice my age. I can't fault Linux, its the (l)users that become very stressful very quickly. I suppose if you worked for a company where the employees actually knew what they were doing it would be alot more gratifying. Good thing theres laws against violence in the workplace...lol
