Would this be a good setup to get?
E-Maxx $320
GP3300 7 cell e-maxx pair $80.50

yeah i but i would also recamend some 3000mah nimh 6 cells for more runtime but thats just me
7 cells=30+mph but less runtime
6 cells= more runtime but 25+mph
More volts=more speed and less runtime
less volts=less speed more runtime

I disagree, voltage has no affect on battery capacity (correct me if im wrong)
the way I understand it, Voltage is the amount of pressure applied on the load (such as your esc and motors) Mah obviosly is battery capacity, and amps are the amount of electrons moving through a load. Therefore, more voltage will not change the amount of runtime, just the pressure applied to the esc and motors.
once again, correct me if im wrong:

Driving an rc car with skill and precision is much more impressive than jumping 25 feet off a half pipe and wrecking like a noob. Stop RC car abuse.
how about theese? http://www.ballisticbatteries.com/St...ShowLarge=True The 6 cell ones
and are theese the same as the ones on the first link?

(the GP 3300 Flat Pack 6 sc cells 7.2 volts NIMH)
just stay with 7-cells you won't even notice the added runtime of the 6cells and 7cells are like entering another world compared to 6cells.
