I had a post on here before of my old emaxx. after 3 months of a complete teardown and rebuild it is finally back together and badder than ever.

3906 emaxx chassis (the purple parts have been powder coated)
wide track arms
hardened steel driveshafts
twin 820 KD motor setup
rebuilt metal geared 3906 tranny locked in 2nd gear.
IMEX Swamp Dawg Tires
Summit evx-2 with LVD.
Locked rear diff/LS front diff (for easier turning)
all new ceramic bearings throughout entire truck.
Home made Twin steering servo setup.

Upgrades to come:
New shocks.
Wanting to purchase a TMAXX roller and convert it over to emaxx spec. leave the automatic 2 speed tranny in. have lots of ideas for it.

This is my E-Maxx 3906 with a 73' Bronco Body, not much done to it, just wanted to show.

this is the misses 3906 e-maxx. i decided to upgrade the hubs and axles on it to the old ones I had on my t-maxx 3.3 (just waiting on new center shafts and front axels and hubs). also put the shocks from my 3.3 onto the emaxx. fitted a hpi grave robber body (still in the process of being stickered and finished off), rpm rear arms, rpm shock towers and rpm body post mounts. has a hitec steering servo on it and alloy servo horn, she likes the look of the old wheels n tyres so they are staying. am just waiting on rpm front arms, new motors (I havent decided on whether to run two titan 550 or two dewalt motors), evx-2 and new transmitter and reciever for it as the old one is pretty dated. is a work in progress but thought I would post it. cheers

Well got the Bronco body done! This thing is a blast! It's very hard to get it stuck haha I bought a pair of Lipo batteries (Venom 5000 7.4's) as the 8.4 NIMH's it comes with don't last 15 minutes..

My 31 year old nitro son came by and borrowed my 3906 to take for a trip to the country lol. He sent me some pics of him crawling with it lol. I have some work to do on it this week, it has two sheared bumper screws that new FLM X braces will take care of. As well as larger pinion gears, 18T to 20T and rebuild the trans, new bearings and idlers. Wheels and tires are getting replaced very soon. He had a blast with it.
