fantom would be your best bet
The Beast
2.5 Race Maxx
How much are you willing to spend and how good are you at tuning? There tends to be an inverse relationship there. The faster you want to go, the more expensive the engine. More expensive engines tend to be race engines that require a deft hand at tuning to get all you can out of them. Many can be difficult to find parts for here in the States.
There are some exceptions, but here's the deal:
max speed = max money + more tuning/maintenance
It all depends on how much you're willing to commit in time and money.
Congrats to RD Racing for becoming a 2005 R/C PRO sponsor.
Way to go, Roy!
Yea the Fantom would be your best bet because with the sirio you would stip to many gears and it would be way to fast![]()
according to rc nitro the wasp .26 is the most powerful enigne u can buy! .26 rsuty![]()

You know your a street racer when... Something falls off your car and you wonder how much weight you just saved.
Correct me if Im wrong but you said "And I want to be different" mmmm, seems that just about everyone that is running a different engine besides the 2.5 is running the Phantom. Exspecially the T-maxx guys.
Am I wrong?
You are half wrong snowmobilefreak, there are many people that run the sirio in the tmaxx, like me. I would say that the balance is almost equal maby more Fantoms. I absolutly love my Sirio; no problems at all. It seems to be about a half a tmaxx lenght slower then my friends Fantom, but Ive only ran 1/2 gallon through. You can't go wrong with eitheir engine![]()
hehehhe, i stand corrected. Thx![]()
If money allows, why not get an RB Concept? The Rody V15 is extremely powerfulk, from what I have heard. Youi might want to go ask about this on their forum. I think that the V15 is more than 400, bu these motors are extremely durable and reliable! Some have got more than 12 gallons thrugh them, nut have had a few sleeve pinches. Heres a link http://www.rbproducts.com/rbww/index.htm
