control
I am new to the world of RC I bought a nitro rustler a few months ago.I have replaced the front and back end with all aluminum upgrades. My question is what can i do to my rustler to make it handle better on a dirt track?
Thank taz6

Hrmm...
Handle better or turn sharper? On a bumpy track, camber the rear wheels INWARD to give it a bit more stability. A high torque servo can help turning a bit, but it still cant turn as sharp as the XXX-NTs and RC10s. A Rustler is the best truck for bashing and sport racing, but its hard to be very competitive with them. My lap times dropped about 10 seconds when I got my Losi XXX-NT. I went from about 40 seconds to like 28s and 30s avg just cause I dont have to fight to get it to turn sharp, which makes it all the more likely to lose control at least ocne or twice a lap. And its not my driving skills cause a few weekends ago I pulled in 2nd in the offroad mains with my XXX-NT, and keep in mind I race at the 2nd best track in the nation (as listed in RC Car ACtion MAgazine).

Even the Traxxas 2055 servo is a good improvement over the 2018. But you prolly already have em. And the Hitec 645 servo (I think thats the name) is what alot of racers use.

The RC-Parts aluminum bell cranks will help some. Especially if you go with the bearings.
What receiver battery pack are you running? A 5 cell hump pack will give you more power to the servos over the standard 4 cell set up.
