trick: when your stub axle breaks, keep the metal part, toss the plastic. buy steel output yokes (4628X , http://www.buytraxxas.com/product_in...oducts_id=1338 )
and mount them on the stub axle
you should be able to see how to mount it.

They have a tendency to pop out if your suspension is tweaked (aka: SOMETHING BENT!). If you have problems like that just use oddball shock mount positions like i do:

It actually tracks straight and rides ok. Just a temporary solution but it works.

it all depends on what you will use it for, and what your personal preference is. but i say go for it

You are taking a 50/50 chance. The only reason I hated mine were due to the drive cup screw heads always stripped when needing to replace the differentile, or when the drive cup becam loose and the screw stripped out. Go to the hardware store, spend a couple pennies and I would consider them a great (and shiny) acessory. By the way I still have mine and still use them.

That pipe is for the 2.5. As for the cvd kit. I have the kit for my nitro rustler and I heard the same old things. They pop out too much, get bent, and arent worth the price. Well, im telling you guys that they arent bad. For 40 bucks you get....steel output yokes, the steel dog bones and axle tip. The only thing wrong with them is that they have to be rebuilt after a while. Other than that they are great. I love em and wouldnt use anything else.

My pipe is the stock side exhaust on the t-maxx. I have an extra long coupler and the stock header on it, and it makes it sound kind of like a t-maxx. To make it fit through the shock tower i cut some of th bracing out, but i think the towers bent now. I'm getting a stinger exhaust when i get my m16

The CVD kist come with everything you need from the tranny to the wheel.

I run the Traxxas steel output yokes and the stock sliders. Never had any problems with that setup. Even with the 2.5 in there. I don't care much for the CVDs myself. I've had some bad luck with them in the past.
