could you use deans 2 pin plugs to connect the motor to the ESC? one would not use one side cause theres 3 wires, but would it work well? or is it just a waste of time compared to un-soldering the wires from the motor.

deans are low resistance connectors, but a direct solder is still better![]()

you want to shorten the wires or just make it disconnectable or what? explain more
i personally would leave it as is unless you think the wires are too long, in that case i would cut the center, that or unless you have good soldering skills then unsolder the motor and cut there and then resolder, its probably best to leave the wire solid either way
i wanted to make it disconnectable, but unsoldering is fine, considering i would not move it between my 4tec and pede that often.

i personally would just get used to rerouting the wires
