Ah man, took me like 4 hours and 20 or so Mtn Dews to pass that. I was so caffeinated up, I cant remember what I did right, but on the last one with the GT1, keep it in 3rd gear the whole time. Even on the long straight, 3rd gear. Go to www.gtplanet.net for a lot of gametalk

    Thumbs up

Here's a great guide to buy (if you don't already have it):

Versus Books: Gran Turismo 3 Guide

It gives you a complete checkpoint-to-checkpoint rundown on how to pass each license test. Darn good book for the money; probably the best $8 I've spent for my PS2!
Six in a row makes it go.

its easier imo to use manual gears for the last one don't go below second gear or you just wheelspin.
    and watch the videos.

Heh I have it, took me a little over an hour to get it, you best bet is to watch the vids then watch your replays to try and get your path and speed as close as possible to the video.

And to be honest I just barely passed most of the tests but I just looked and i completed the last test August 22 of 2001
I didn't break that, it was just used to it's fullest potential.

Its impossible... lol. I have passed every one EXCEPT for that last one!! It just drive me crazy... And that track... Cote`d Azur or w/e.. Its hard stuff man...Took me a few days to complete the first 7. Still havent beat the 8th one. the other ones that really bugged me was the one test when youre in the GT40 on Seattle Circuit II.. And that SO SLOW Miata one on Trail Mountain. Those took me the longest.. My favorite is with the Penzoil GTR. Midway is my favorite track.

Cote`d Azur is by far the worst track in the history of all games. The only way to get good at it is practice. It's very important that you watch the video also. And another thing, you can shave off some time by sliding along certain walls (you come out of the turns faster), you just can't ram them becuase you'll fail.

if you think the cote d' azur's bad, try the practice track, it takes me about 3 minutes i think to do one lap in an indy car.

it's easy to get the superlicense in my opinion, but i used to play it all the time. i don't get how people can get all gold on it though...

I can't imagine getting all golds on the super license test. I can't even manage all golds on the i-B license test.

to get even more money, use the game shark once, then use it with the win all series races. skip through the raves and ma ke sure you have the inf money off on the game shark. keep skipping races and youl some trillion dollars.

are you talking about gt3? cuz if you are, it's not that hard, I could go through it with the F094 or F688 and get all gold, but I'd rather just do it on the three races that I didn't place first in. The only thing I don't like about this game is it was too easy to win races. I just haven't beaten it yet cuz I don't feel like taking the time to do so.
