Does anybody know how to completely reset a TI-83 Plus Silver Edition back to square one? (I.E., undo any program editing, etc.) I've looked through the manual and searched the Internet, but haven't seen any pertinent info. I have the TI-Graph Link computer hookup if it's necessary.
During final exams last year, my TI-83 Plus Silver Edition was stolen and completely re-edited. It was recently recovered. Now, it won't graph or even perform basic functions (adding, subtracting, etc). I desperately need it for summer work, and don't want to pay $120ish for a new one.
On a side note, their won't be any justice for the thief. She gave the school administration a sob story about "accidentally" taking it from my materials, "accidentally" scratching off ID tags, "accidentally" deleting ownership information in the address book, "accidentally" writing over my school programs, and "accidentally" installing over 40 games. She also claimed that she was going to return it to me (then why did she destroy all identifying markings and delete critical programs?!) Unfortunately, the school believed every word of it. Sheesh.
