    What are bearings?

I'm wondering what ball bearings are for. I think they increase speed, but that's all I know. Maybe someone could point me in the right direction here.

ball bearings provide less friction and resistance than bushings. This means less wear and possibly higher rotational speeds. You would want to replace the bushings in your front and rear axle carriers with bearings (go with new RPM carriers and 5*11 bearings) for better performance and durability.
