Why do I see alot of people with T maxx's trading for a rustler, or stampede? What really sets them apart from each other..I know that the T maxx is 4wd and the others arent..but whats some pro's and con's of each? I am just getting into this and was kinda wondering... so let me know...im curious..
thanks

hah, nice name
i had them both at one point, the tmaxx is 2-speed, 4wd, 40+ mph, more ground clearance, all terrain vs. rustler's 1 speed, 2wd, lighter, 50+ speed, onroad/not as much offroad capablity.
i decided to get mine for speed, and it was alot better then my tmaxx overall for how i used an rc.
rustler has better acceleration, lighter, easier to work on, seems like less maintance to me, ect. tmaxx advantage better offroad which i didnt use, shifting is cool, more aftermarket parts.
the main reason i started using the rustler over the tmaxx was the pure speed, i also got into some jumping with the rustler and that was more fun for me the the maxx. considering a used smaller jumps thats probably why too.
all depends on how you use it and what you want. if you want a fast offroad truck with a ton of aftermarket stuff that looks nice go maxx, if you want a insanely fast light, mild offroad rc without as much aftermarket get the rustler. hopefully that helps you some, just my opinion after having them both
