Does anyone know where I can get a fail safe for my Traxxas radio that came with my NR?

Here's a walkthrough of how I installed a failsafe on my T-Maxx. While the installation on a Rustler will be somewhat different the walkthrough itself may prove useful.
If you scroll down to the bottom, you'll find a list of several failsafes that should work with the stock radio electronics.

The link you have for the OFNA fail-safe is dead; the main URL doesn't even have anything to do with RC.
If you want a fail-safe asap, go with the Venom VFS. If you can wait a week or two, get the OFNA micro fail-safe. It's very small, and costs a little under $27.

I love the smell of nitro fumes in the morning!
Or get a 50 cent throttle return spring from Ace Hardware. Ive had a few would-be runaways, but the spring stopped them all.
Go to Ace Hardware and get a #73 1-inch spring, and install it like this:

It looks like the company that hosted that site pulled the plug on them. Time to look for another replacement link.Mis'

A TRS is not a substitute for a failsafe though. There are instances that a TRS won't do the job, but a failsafe will. The exact opposite is also true. For the best protection, both should be used.Or get a 50 cent throttle return spring from Ace Hardware. Ive had a few would-be runaways, but the spring stopped them all.

Wouldn't the spring damage your servo or drain your batteries?
