ok. i have the 2.5 had it sisnce christmas eve. and i have had to buy 3 carbs now because where that one big needle is at up top. it will not keep breakin off under that. does andone have a suggestion on how to stop this/

First, how are you breaking it?
Second, if it does break you can just buy the carb body and rebuild it with your usable parts. I believe the body is only $14 compared to $40.

Sounds like your over tightening the needle assembly. There isn't any clearence under the needle fitting. What will happen is the needle fitting will bottom out on the carb body and act like a wedge and crack the carb. Wedge it apart just like splitting wood.
This will happen long before stripping the threads. "Take another look at plastic"
What you could do if the banjo fitting seems loose and leaks after using new crush washers is file about .020" or so off bottom of the needle fitting threads. This will give you alittle more room to tighten the assembly but still being careful not to overtighten. Make sure there are no burrs on the threads and clean completely before reinstalling. Don't want to introduce any debris into the engine.
