Try the Traxxas Sledghammer tires. Those things grip like nothing else. It's like having a supercharged tractor.

dirtydog - I wouldn't lie to ya! They work great, and they're not the soft compound that the stock tires are made of (aka - they didn't go bald after an hour). There's no foams involved, and they worked GREAT. I mean, I kept flipping the darned thing into turns because I was so used to the usual pushing.

    I HIGHLY recommend them.

1rclovinkid - I'm somewhat close to you. About 20 minutes.

WM - northern part (not as north as you) about an hour southeast from you. I've talked with you before on the RD board about my location

Well i put on a set of stock ELECTRIC STAMPEDE tires and turned them around and what do you know ,wheelies.i never thought they would work that well.I have a hard time getting traction on grass ,since I put the MEGATECH 16 in.The trx pro had alot less torque. Now I am having problems with the pins in my CVDs popping out.I put thd locker on and it isnt helping.I am torqing them real hard and I am going to let them sit overnight.I may have to put a tock drive train in but i am not sure the plastic will hold up.Almost a qt thru the motor ,and its running good.I bought a anti roll anttenna (stiff) and it helps it to not flipp over so much.It works OK!.

Ok, here's a little hint from a fellow Rustlererer:

Loosen the slipper clutch a tad if it starts to wheelie or you run the risk of messing up your transmission.

I have the stock ones, and i can pull wheelies like nothing in grass. I also had team losi t-bones... they seem to grip pretty good too, but the stock rear tires seem to pull the front end up alot better.

hey Vipervenom848, or anyone else that can answer. What size tires are they in the picture? Different size rims?, or they the stock ones. ALso He has 4 tires same size, and NJRustler has 2 bigger in the back. Will the 4 still pull wheelies? and which would be better for handling? thanks

oh yea will bigger tires decrease speed drastically?

Those tires fit on the regular 2.2" wheels. The tires themselves have a larger outer diameter.

The four should pull wheelies if that's what you're into.

The fact that the front shocks are preloaded a bit more by having larger tires in the back of my truck I believe helps cornering and such. Grip is not a problem on any surface.

Dirtydog - if you have a NRustler, chances are you have a slipper clutch. It's the metal plate next to your spur gear (there's actually another one on the other side). The nut next to that plate is the one that controls how tight or loose your slipper clutch is.

I took the masher2000s on the rims of my pede and just got them on my nitro .They are not ment to fit but they are holding on by a few threads.Wow a definate improvement .More wheelies and they work well withthe very GRIPY edges on the front.
