Cool Hehe...can we say RIP OFF!!!

I'm at my LHS today because I know they're having a sale. It's one of those sales that the price goes down 10% every week. So stuff is now down to 40% off. Well I noticed last time there was an electric RTR Rustler on the shelf and it was still there!!! I'm like cool...I wonder what the price is. Well I look at the price and realize why it's still there...$520! This is a stock RTR electric Rustler...maybe it has an XL1 ESC I didn't check. So I'm like I wonder if all their Rustlers are that expensive. So I look around but they didn't have any other electric Rustlers but I did find a gas one and it was like $300. Isn't electric suppose to be like a lot cheaper than the gas ones?! They had a Bandit and a Spirit priced at $185 and $120 respectively...the Bandit was a bit high but the Spirit was reasonable. But can you imagine $520 for an electric Rustler?! Even at 40% off it's still like well over $250. Maybe if it's still there when they hit like 90% off I'll get it!

We have about 4 lhs's here, and a couple try to sell e/t-maxxes for about 800 dollars, and the good one (Derialds R/C Hobby - Adams Creek R/C Raceway) has tower prices.

I definitely didn't read it wrong. But MAYBE they priced it wrong. Next time I go in there I'll ask.

    10% off every week?
I would just lay low for 11 weeks. Then they would be paying you to take them out of the store..

The hobby shops here are letting the Electric Rustler with an ESC go for $125.00. And for $150.00 you can get two cheap 1500 M batteries and a quick charger to go with it.

Thanks for the info, I couldn't pass up on this deal.
2 more questions, what's the difference between the 4 Tec and 4-Tec Pro?, a what's a good ROAR approved motor to fit this car?, as far as I understand, the OS with pullstart won't fit.
    Thanks again. Joe
