For my starting issues i set my HSN to 3turns and my LSN to 1 3/4 turns. Make sure you havent over heated it first though. Your carb may even be blocked.

So you fixed the problem, or did that just give you somewhere to start and your going to try some stuff tomorow? You may also want to check that your one-way bearing isnt slipping.

Take out the plug then re-attatch the blue wire and press the starter (make sure the plug contacts the engine to complete the circuit) look at the plug, is it bright orange? Are all the coils brightly lit? If not uve got a weak/fouled one. Replace it.

    Good glowplugs are:
    O.S. No.8
    Mccoy 59
ModelTechnics Firepower F series (i like the F5 or F6)
    Or the traxxas ones.

Jus make sure the plug hasnt got idle bars.

How do you prime your engine? Dont use the bulb, it tears and causes leaks. Put your finger over the exhaust tip and crank over your engine a little this will force fuel round to the carb VERY fast so be careful, you dont want to flood it.

my low speed mixture is set at about 1 1/2 or so is that ok?
I tested my glow plug by takeing it out its sport recenecting the blue wire and tuching it to the engin head when i hit the ez start button there was a little poof of smoke then the coil turned bright red then it turned to its originol coler silver but i was still holding down the ez start button. does this mean that the plug is dead. it

This doesnt necissarly mean that the plug is dead, try it again, but this time if the plug dies again move the plug around on the head to re-establish the positive - negative connection. If it still dont work, detatch the yellow wire from the e-zstart thing and touch it on the threads whole holding the button. If this still doesnt light then its gone, get a new one. The little puff of smoke u saw was probably just a bit of raw fuel in the glowplug body. Your lowspeed sounds a little rich. Try 1 3/4 turns. Its better to be a little leaner than that if your having starting probs for now.

    Hope you sort it.
