    Thumbs up Will.......

    work fine as an after run oil, but when you can, you need to get the proper stuff for the filter. Traxxas themselves even recommend using WD-40 in your afterrun procedure. Associated makes a great filter oil that alot of us use currently. Really sticky stuff. www.towerhobbies.com has it in stock. K&N filter oil will work too, but it's not as sticky. I've used it alot in the past. Most motorcycle shops or autoparts stores sell it.

    As after run oil, yes; fir filter oil, not really. WD-40 is very thin, so it won't grab the dirt as well, and since it's a petroleum product, it may eat at the foam filter element.

    WD = Water Displacment

    40 = the number of tries till they got it right. Just a stupid fact.

    But yes it safe to use as after run. I personally use marvel mystery oil. A gallon of that 4 dollars. I also use the marvel mystery oil as my air filter oil.
    Just my 2 cents take em as you read em'

    hmm ok thanks.

    also i probably wont get it runing until a week or so of tweaking and Im going away for 2 weeks, I have primed the engine, or so i thought, and there are bubbles in the fuel line, how should i drain the engine so I can store it for 2 weeks?

    dont use wd-40 as arter run! i did it once and it took all the lub out of the engine and left it with no compression! use any after run oil like hobbico some stuff like that.

    Take the line that goes to the pipe and blow into it after you put the line to the carb back into your fuel container.It works great for me.

    Is that even possible?
    WD-40 is a penetrating oil; it goes into the surface of the metal.

    hmmm sorry I dont get it dirty dog.

    I have primed the engine already and its not starting because of fuel bubbles. Im pretty sure theres fuel inside the engine. How do I take care of it?

    Marvel Mystery Oil does it's job in my filters, and doesnt "eat" them away.

    From my understanding, Marvel Mystery Oil is the same thing as After Run Oil.

    If you are getting air bubbles in your line ,you may have a leak somewhere .
