urgent help!!!

i was running my pede today,it was ok.
i got it home and tried to start it, it started first time i throtled it a bit while holding ezstar button the n when i stopped pressing the button the engine cut any ideas !!!!!?

got trash in the air adjust screw? THey dont always start up easily... do you have a hot shot? or somethign to get the glow plug going? Trying holidng your finger over the exhaust a couple seconds then releasing it.. Mine can be a pain to start.

i knew hed post a post like this and that he wouldnt tell the whole story
he is running without a gasket and way to lean because his engine cooling head has gone from dark blue to light blue in the space of 3 months, with my maxx i ran like he did with a gasket thow:P and my head went light blue after about 6 months

If the cooling head gets too hot it fades. mine did in about 3 months too. thats when i was a newbie. you have to set your engine just right and not run it too hot. if you dont have a temp guage, do the spit test. spit on your cooling head, and if it sizzles off really fast, its too hot. it should just evaporate. your engine should run about 280-285 degrees, not exceeding 350 degrees. be easy jonathan morris.

so a temp guage would be bennificial when tuning.. my head is already faded blue when i got it.. i also noticed that nitro wash made it fade more.

Heck traxxas's website said 300+ range for performance. I finally got mine tuned in right.. from what i read i needed more fuel becuase of my pipe and all. Now it runs really well and its hard to keep wheels on ground. I need a wheelie bar bad! I ditched my electric start.. I like the pull start better.. less on the truck.
