    Question graphite upgrade?

i have a nitro rustler and it my first r/c car. having great fun with it. just put in an order for aluminum tuned pipe and header plus hardened steel differential yokes plus big-bore shocks. was wondering if the graphite set is worth it. that would be the chassis top plate front and rear shock towers. would like also and feedback of any other hop up worth looking into. thanks

Make sure you get a fuel filter! Very cheap and also helps the engine greatly. Other than that, some good tires, some bearings for the wheels, and maybe some aluminum wheel hubs would be good hop ups to look into

the top plate doesn't seem to do much but stabilize the front shock tower. I am working on mounting everything to the chassis and making a brace for the front end. to answer your question the front and rear shoock towers are wrth the money

    Thumbs up

thanks for the advice. i have changed the tires. i put in dirt hages in the back plus dirt works for the front. i did put a fuel filter. but thats about it for now. have been playing around with spur gears. but have been disappointed in the local hobby store with there lack of rustler hop ups. been having to order everything. except tires. have also noticed that every other time out i lose a screw or something breaks. does the graphite set hold onto the screws better. or is there a better way to hold on to the screws on the rustler.

the graphite makes the chassis stifer which is a good thing. another good hop up is mip 360 stinger. that and lose the ez-start; it's heavy and the yank eliminator works just as well. if you realy want to hold those screws in, use lock tite. it's very cheep and it will hold screws in for as long as you want, just let it set.
