    Cylinder Resizing ???

I just thought this might be interesting, I read about it before and then saw a post in another forum. Basicaly it is how to obtain the tools or just the service to squeeze your cylinder back to size for like new compression on an engine that would otherwise need a rebuild....I talked to the guy about it because I wondered what happens to the chrome plating......he said nothing happens to it, that he has used this method on the same cylinder several times and each time the engine's compression lasted as long as it did when all the parts were new..anyway here's the addy http://www.buffalo.edu/~jfroth/pinch

Well, it looks pretty good. I have seen that link before, but it looks good. Are you thinking of doing it?

I may try it if I can ever get an engine to wear out.......so far all my engines are still good, I guess all that oil in the airplane fuel I have been using has attributed to long life for my car engines.
