    Anyone have a REAL boat?

Does anyone have a real boat as in feet not inches. I have a 1997 24ft. Four winns with 280hp. It can hit around 50mph+.
....Just curious to see what boats other kids have....

It's wasn't fast or furious, but I had a 1984 AquaSport 196 Osprey 19' center console fishing boat with a Mercury 115 inline 6cyl outboard. Probably topped out at 40mph on a good day.....
    But the fishing was fun!
Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go?

I've got an 88 Carrera 21' closed bow with a stock 454. I can get 65 mph out of her on glass. There's a pic of me in a poker run 2 years ago at http://carreraboats.com/Regatta2k/pages/DSCN0329.htm[/URL] Gonna be tough choice between boating and maxxing this summer, ain't neither one cheap to do.

We have a 18' Aeroglas Century Scorpion, painted in bright red gelcoat. It's a 1978 model that's led a gentle life.
It has a '78 Chevrolet inline-6 160HP, and cruises at about 28mph. Top speed is somewhere in the 45-50mph range.

But, it's got to go... need to make room for more toys.
Six in a row makes it go.

We have a 1979 Malibu Skier in Lovell, Maine with a V8 Chevy small block. It's a inboard. We use it for Wakeboarding in the morning. Got a nice cage on it. FAST. I/O's take forever to spool up. Ski boats ROCK!

oh ya!!!!!!! my brother also has a ski boat. that does 40 he has a blast with that thing. he goes out on lake michagan and by the beach where he goes, he went full out and slammed into revearse. now on full size boats that would kill the engine. but these are different i guess. well on that one it does a nose dive under the water and he said he spent a half hour pumping out all the water. they ound really neat
