Roy prolly isnt interested in coming back again... think of how he has gotten treated for dumb little things. if you got kicked in the ribs every time you said something, would you hang around long?

Tazz hasn't gotten his 2.5 yet... he has been busy with other things and hasnt really ordered it... to my knowledge anyway

I finally got my new T out this weekend. I was happy with the break in process. It went well. The engine seems to have lots of power, even pushing that lunker of a truck. I didn't spend much time trying to get it tuned in just right though.

BTW .. what happened to IAMI?

not sure, but i think it was eveybody demanding certai parts and as most of us know it takes weeks to plan a single part, let alone make enough to be able to make and desing a new part, and he just had too much

Guys,

I am not gone from here nor am I going anywhere. 2.5 Rustler is almost done. Complete pics and review will be soon. Have to break it in indoors since the rain wont go away. Should be broke in this week.

Good to hear Roy. I would hate to see one of the more respected members leave the boards. You bring a lot to the boards, as well as to the Rustler, and I think that it would be a loss to the community to loose you and your support for the Rustler.

I'm ready to hear what you have to say about the 2.5 as well. Keep us posted!

I was under the impression that he should have gotten it already from some of the post that you made on other boards.
Such as..

"Tazz rc owner from the traxxas forums was also chosen to get a 2.5 before the 2.5 rusty comes out.. is getting it this weekend and him and i may go bash after he breaks it in.."

Been over two weeks he should have gotten it already....

that is what he told me at the time...
youd have to ask him the specifics, and he was contacted and given the offer. he just hasnt really responded i guess

why havent you gotten one? you yourself are a very upstanding member of this forum and give good imput on almost anything.

i tend to think that you would be as qualified as anyone else to test out the latest fad in R/c engines

I have a 2.5 ready to be broken in, just haven't been able to do it. It's been too wet over here at the moment, so I haven't even bothered putting it in the car. When it's dry and I'm not at work, it's normally so cold, and that is no good for break in.

I look forward to doing it soon.
