Yippie! I feel smart now. I just took my final test in general math and got 100% on it. Not a big thing to most people but I have not had any math for over 26 years. I never did have any algebra. Well anyway I feel smart now. ( give myself a pat on the back) Of course I will feel not so smart in a day or two. That is when I will start my algebra class. I wish I had not cheated myself out of these things when I was in school. My brain sponge soaked things up better then than it does now.

i got my report card today and im getting 2 e's a d+ and 3 c's my gpa is a 1.8. im in 10th grade...

im in 9th grade and i got a 3.0 but anyways we have this stupid math program and every math class does the exact same thing on the exact same day and we have different "competincies" on the test and if u miss none u get a 100 if u miss one u get a 80 and if u miss 2+ u get a 0 and then two days later u retake the test and try to get hundreds on the competincies u didnt pass and we have to do that 3 times it gets annoying after a while and then every 9 weeks if u pass u go on to part b or im going on to part c since its gonna be the seconds 9 weeks and if u fail u stay back and have to take all 4 classes and if u fail one u have to take one in summer school

Your report card sounds like mine was in school. Well I was warned by many that some day I would wish I had worked harder in school. I thought yea, sure, and did just enough to get a "D". It was passing and it would get me to the next level. That worked good at the time. Well now later on I know I only cheated myself out of things that would help me. So now that I want to take some courses at the local Ivy Tech college I can't. At least not yet. I am spending time refreshing and learning things I should have learned back in high school. With work, and things I have to do around the house I do not have all that much free time. Now I am spending time playing catch-up instead of taking the classes I would like to. Dude, you need to work harder and get better grades. As you get older you will find out that poor grades, and missed education will hold you back. And it will hurt nobody but you. It is a lot harder later on to try to catch up. Do your self a big favor and at least get your grades up to a "C" or better. Sorry for the lecture but I know first hand that you are letting a very big opportunity slip by you. Good luck in the future.

congradulations, i haven't visited in a while. ya, try to bring your grades up, i once got 2 f's, never happened again. trying to bring yourself out of a slump is hard. i got straight 2.6s last year and i got it up to a 2.9 this year, it's hard, but well worth it.

I know how you feel. Ever since 7th grade(When we first got the internet), I've been getting bad grades, usually below a 2.0. Right now I'm a Junior (11th) .. Last year I wanted to play on the Tennis team, but I couldn't 'cause my grades. I could of made Varsity too. This is the first time I felt limited because of my grades.

1. US History - C. (71%)
2. Geometry - B. (89%)
3. English - F. (Something like a 40%)
4. Chemistry - D. (59.5%, didn't do a 100 point project)
5. Lunch.
6 &7. Virtual Business - A. (Something like a 94%)

I actually got above a 2.0 .. Congrats. Mud King ..
