    Starter Box

    Alright, 2 questions

    1. Will this starter box work on my truck? I'm almost positive it will, but might as well ask. Also, it says 1/8, so you never can be too careful.

    2. Can i power it from my 12 volt power supply instead of a 12 volt battery?

No, that will NOT work with the nitro sport. That is for 1/8th scale vehicals. Those have side mounted engine, unlike the Nitro Sport with it's in-line mounted engine.
You could use any of the starter boxes here, except for the second one in the first column:

I love the smell of nitro fumes in the morning!

What are you tryin to start, if it is the stock motor, then dont even bother getting one unless you are fed up with a pullstat or ezstart....But if it is some high dollar motor, be my guest. i think spending money on a starter box is only good if u have a high dollar motor that is bumpstart..

mumbles to himself (stupid 1/8 scale buggies... if they weren't so big i'd show 'em a thing or two) well, tazz, your right as usual. Trying to save a few bucks via Tower's scratch and dent just didn't work this time.
