    Cool acceleration!

i ive been having this problem with acceleration.
i have a hot bodies .18 engine with a 20 tooth bell and
a 66t spur. at first when i had these problem i had the replace the gear in my tranny. so they are new. but now, when i accelerate, the engine is about 1/3 rpm, then it gradually takes off. it will sit there and rev for a minute...... then slowly take off. its weird. any comments. i can give yall more info if needed, im stumped.

im pretty sure thats tight enough, ive already been doing that but how tight does it need to be? they said quarter turn out from all the way tight. what if i got a new slipper spring? i read that somewhere.

i thunk of that too, i tried leanin' it out, little by little, i dont know what the needle is set at right now im afraid to check... but its a hot bodies engine, whats usually a good needle setting? i dont know, thats practically the last thing to check. unless the gearing is off. they say (hot bodies) it has roughly 1.3 hp.? i have a 20t clutch bell with stock everything else, not a stock exhaust either. please help!
    huh?

no if anything it would be the slipper clutch, or clutch shoes. what happens when the slipper clutch is too tight?
    huh?

like you said, it may be your clutch shoes.when you got the new engine, did you keep the old clutch from the trx or did u get a new one. If you kept the old ones, they are probably bad..if they are new, then u may have installed then incorrectly....
