I am not sure if this is why but a hobby store can charge what ever they want for their products. Are there any other hobby shops close by? If that is the only one for a good distance then they can get away with it because people will pay the price instead of traveling far to get the part. The piston and sleeve for the trx pro 15 is $40 and no connecting rod. Even with a connecting rod I think the price shouldn't be more than $60. I would have to check around before I would pay $89 for it. If that is the going price I think I will keep on running the old trx pro 15 in my old T-maxx's instead of upgrading. I can get a good bit more power out of the old engine simply by porting it.
T Maxx and American mud, OH BOY!

I don't find that a high price for a connecting rod, piston and sleeve. Especially comparing too picco. The piston and sleeve cost 60 bucks for my picco. And for that rossi pixi black, the sleeve is 150!!!!
