Rustler?, RC10GT plus? Tmaxx? I don't know which one.

    Hey fellas,
I'm new to trucks and thought I'd try and pry some info from you.

I've driven the Tmaxx and Stampede but never a ST or buggie. My Tmaxx friend says there's a huge difference between the 4wd handling and 2wd. I couldn't see it, but then, I didn't have much wheel time on the Tmaxx.

I liked the 2wd alright but thought the Rustler, or RC10, might be better because it's lighter and lower to the ground. Not sure if it's worth another hundred bucks for the Tmaxx. Tmaxx friend says it is but he's never tried a ST either.

I will be using it wherever I find dirt, not on a groomed track. I love jumping and Tmaxx friend says there's the rub. ST's hardly ever land on their wheels. If that's the case, what's the point? (need lead for balancing?) Tmaxx almost always land on their wheels.

Tmaxx is heavy and I don't know if I like that. Is 4wd all that? Wheelies are fun. But don't want to get into something I'll be tired of in a month because it keeps flipping on jumps or just plain flipping over.

The rustler is good for bashing and you could make it a racer also. The RC 10 GT Plus is ready to race outta the box it is sweet. I think i might get one this Xmas. The tmaxx is mostly for messing around anywhere u want. It is also a great vehicle. It jumps fine and handles better due to the new suspension. Stadium trucks also jump well, so i dont know what people were saying about that. U make the choice hope this helped.

    which one is better

i have a rustler and my dad has a t-maxx. they are two very different trucks. there are pros and cons about both. ill start with the rustler
pros:fast, low to the ground, good turning, doesnt flip easy
cons: no reverse, low to the ground can be bad on rough terrain

    t-maxx
pros: reverse, can go over almost anything
cons: flips eaisly, doesnt turn at high speeds without flipping, slow.

the rustler will jump fine if you know how to jump it. you have to hold down the throttle if you dont want it to nose dive.

i would go with the rustler because of the fact that it is fast and you wont get bored with it. all it needs is reverse

    I realy like my rustler.....
    that car rule!

It's fast and durable, it wont flip like the t-maxx, it cost about 100$ less.
It wont pass as much that the t-maxx is able but put some good big tire and you will be able to do some crazy off-road.

The reverse is literaly useless --> my 2 cents
HoP-uP: Motor saver air filter, and hpi pipe! It rock! :P I also haver a set of big bore! I'll not buy a engine now! I wanna learn to drive my car again! lol

the gt has most of the race parts on it already but if you put some money into a pro.15 rustler it can easily beat a gt because the gt has a thunder tiger engine in it. now put a 0.S in a gt and you have a whole new machine! the t-maxx is in my opinion the utimate basher it is fast(the new t-maxx) durable and can go just about anywhere.
    Cant stop thinking about rc
