Why graphite? Why aluminum? Why steel? Why magnesium? Why copper? Why silver? Why not titanium??? Titanium is the best metal on earth! Or if you are really rich then you could go buy some depleated uranium and use it! Or if non depleated uranium is the only available uranium then get it! Sure it will make you sterile, but who cares? Sure you will probably get radiation poisning but what do you expect to live to age 50? Nah... Titanium or Uranium is the best choice. Did you know that they use uranium in nuclear bombs? They also use uranium in nuclear power plants. What you could do is make your truck out of non-depleated uranium and then it would glow green and then you could drive it and have it explode... but you will die no matter where you are, since the radios only reach a quarter of a mile. So dont try the uranium, just get depleated uranium, that is the safe stuff. They also use depleated uranium for some bullets... if you have ever seen the Jackel (its a movie) then you will notice he uses depleated uranium in his .50 caliber anti-aricraft machine gun. Sorry i babble so much, i just find uranium such a interesting material.

    Cool

Listen to Carhartt. They also make tank rounds out of DU. It blows right through the armor and catches on fire. All the spalled metal bounces around inside the tank and makes pizza out of the poor crew. The round blows out the other side and the resulting vacuum sucks the crew out with it. They are not too worried about radiation poisoning.

If you make your Sport out of DU you can use it in battlefield conditions or in smash up derbies!!!!

Sorry, still no word on the graphite.

the other problem with titanium is that if you manage to crack it, it will cost alot more to have welded and if you know how to weld you wont be able to fix it. with aluminum you can weld it yourself (if you know how) or pay some one to.

They also make the front plates on the tank out of DU. It pretty much makes the tank in penitrable. But not nice stuff to be around if it goes boom.

You are right. I have seen this in person. I am in the Army and have played with many different explosives and I love to watch things go boom as much as any one else does. I just don't like the things it does after.
