I read a post a couple of weeks ago about the excellent quality of the aluminum wheels by Nova R/C Products. One of the replies asked how much the wheels weighed but I did not see a response to the question. I recently purchased a set of Nova wheels (style TE-1002) and I am happy to report that the quality is great but at $75.00 for a set of four, the price is even greater. The TE-1002 style that I purchased is probably next to the heaviest of all the available styles. I weighed each wheel on a postal scale and found the weight to be precisely 5.5 ounces each. I purchased a set of Proline Maxx Road Rage tires for the wheels and they weigh in at 7.0 ounces each, including the foam inserts. This brings the total weight to 12.5 ounces each. The stock tire and wheel that comes on a T-Maxx weighs in at 11.1 ounces. That makes each of my new wheel/tire assemblies 1.4 ounces heavier than stock assemblies which means my truck now weighs 5.6 ounces more than a stock truck. I hope this is helpful information.
