    Stupid question

    has anbody ever made a liquid cooled head or like a water coolis that rap around the head it seams like a god idea

    I wouldn't be surprised if people have attempted to transform the engine from a air cooled engine to water cooled. I haven't seen it but my guess is it would be unusually large for an r/c car since you need lots of water and a pump to circulate it around a big enough area. If the water sits there on the head it will simply boil. I've only heard that marine-engines are cooled by the water. Someone for sure can follow up on this better than me.

    You should post this in the t-maxx forums. I know a couple of people who made a water cooled engine on their maxx.

    There's a water-cooled T-Maxx in the MaxxTraxx Project Trucks page. It used the head and some parts off a Marine TRX Pro.
    Personally, I don't understand why it's desireable for an engine to run 180* - all that does is wear the piston & sleeve from cold operating temps, and adds a slew of weight. We land-runners are better off with an air-cooled engine.
    Six in a row makes it go.
