    Post what about...

a nitro/electric hovercraft? Or a 1/8 nitro buggy? Seems that every rc manufacturer has a 1/8 nitro buggy. One more question, are you going to have races between other traxxas customers?

ya but i mean a real r/c hovercraft. i remeber tycos the 20 foot radio range, how it broke if u went off a 6 inch jump, how they only work when they want too i say that they shouldnt even be able to sell these things labled as "fast" but thats just my 2 cents they were fun til i learned that there were real r/c cars not just toys

Hovercrafts are difficult to control. They don't fly high enough to go over a curb or climb a hill. RC versions are too small to travel over anything but the smoothest water (1/10 scale waves ). They don't steer quickly at high speed.

Am I the only one who thinks these limitations make a hovercraft boring?

I'm not sold on the idea yet.

1/8 scale could be very cool, but we don't make a .21 engine.

I'm pretty sure that someone said the same thing back in the eary 90's. "well we don't make a .15 engine, we only have .12; it has plenty of power and is pretty easy to tune and we see no need to make a .15 unless we make a big kit to put it in. As of now we can't make a .15 nor do we have the machinery to do it with." Well you guys did it you made a .15... so i know that you can make a .21. Take a tmaxx, make a chassis so that the bulk heads are on top not below, make a foward only tranny, buggy rims/tires, with a lower gearing. And there you have it.
