Is the body hitting any part of the ground or car itself while it is turning?

I dont see how that could be a problem unless the body is hitting the ground while turning. You might just be imagining something, because unless the body is actually creating lift, then there would be no problem. I used to have a traxxas body, and it never had any problems....

If i were you, i would figure out what to do on you car to make it handle correctly. I've never heard of a body decreasing the handling unless it was severely rubbing the tires or the ground.

with the windshield cut out you are forcing the air to escape out the bottom of the car. This causes lift for the body and depending on the speed of your car it can affect the steering, especially the control of the back of the car...

does it feel like the car is fishtailing?

you may want to cut another hole in the rear windshield, or get another body for racing...

    Get another body.

The way that the 4-Tec's body is designed is such that the air will follow the top until it hits the back, then it is forced down as it cannot escape from the back of the lid. This causes lift like on an airplane.

or try to remove some of the back window so that the air can escape out the back of the car and not the bottom of the body..

If you need more information about this just PM me and I will be happy to explain..

What I did with my stock body is cut out a tear-drop shape from where traxxas put the hole for the heatsink. I was hoping it would help to cool down the engine as well as give a way out for the air from the hole I cut in the windshield.

that may work, but you also may lose some of the strength of the top...

Question Same thing with tail end

I have the Nitro 4 Tec and here is where I'm stuck....
Tail whips out on turns and car actually goes backwards until I hit the gas... A lot of dents/marks on rear body.... The car has no wheel resistance, I could spin the tires and they would keep on going round and round.. Where it would stop- at the track bumpers...

Steps so far to try and correct it......
    1. Rebuild shocks using 60 shock oil in back 40 in front. No fix
    2. Spacers. from small to tall... No fix
    3. Foam or rubber tires.. No fix
    4. heavy duty springs in front.. No fix
    5. Took front end all apart and packed the front diff with grease.. No fix
    The next steps!!!!!!!!!!!!
    6. Now going to rebuild shocks again and use aluminum shock caps. Plus take rear diff out and pack it with grease...

    &%^*(&%^$)()(*^%^*(&)^
OK.... Put aluminum caps on shocks... a little better...
Packed diffs with Multi-purpose lithum grease.....
What's the best grease to use?
Put on sway bars... A little better....
Put on proline tires, with Orion blue tire inserts.....
Better traction but STILL having the same problem with the car
spinning in a circle when I step on the gas on a straight-away.
And slowing down for a corner the rear swings around like a top..

    I needs some ideas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
