Mine has been losing calibration randomnly for like three weeks now... SO Annoying.. I am upgrading to the MMP 2400 SCT next week... Sick of it.
Bump I was thinking the same...
This is weird... One the guys that I see at the LHS carpet track had the same thing happen to him on his rally in 1 month. Ive been beating this KB for 100+ packs the last 3 months and haven't had...
If your serious about this car just get 7018x, 7028x and 7038x in one fell swoop.
Actually... I have not even run a 2s in my car yet. I am excited to see how much of a boost I get since I have been using stock 6 cell nimh's in single and parallel configurations. Am I correct in...
PS What kind of performance changes should i see with the SV2 and stock motor combo?
You guys have all been great helping me understand exactly what you all are talking about. Thank you. In conclusion I am going to get a SV2 ESC and then get a really nice heat sink for the stock...
I am starting to see your point. The 1/18 is 20mm. If I wanted to replace my stock motor with anything castle for the build I am going for it should be the limited edition CM26 which is 26mm like...
Hrmmm ok. Based upon these http://www.castlecreations.com/products/mamba_micro_pro.html. Which would be best combo? The CM2042, 2054, 2058 or 2080? Would these require the Brushed BB motor mount...
What is your application of the KB Rally SV2/4600 build? Strictly straight line speed runs?
Honestly how does this thing drive after the conversion with 2s? Is it usable? Is it ridiculously overkill? I am thinking about doing this conversion for carpet with 4-tec wheels and foam tires? ...
Looking to pay 130ish for a Mini E-Revo Roller. Post links to pictures please
Djmaincheese. What is the part number for your motor mount bud? I am thinking about getting a new chassis and that engine/esc combo so I can upgrade my KB.
That turned out REALLY nice man. You have inspired me to use the same body once i thoroughly crack my stock body.
It seems like my stock 4x4 Ultimate ESC is losing calibration every time I do not use the car for more than 24 hours. Do you guys think my Wireless satellite speakers in my house are causing this? ...
Center diff is for track racing... If you are bashing and running on the street stick with the slipper.
RPM everything. Look up the Low Maintenance thread on these forums as well. Really well put together with ways to protect your 4x4. Your biggest annoyance is going to be rocks getting into your...
The wiggling side to side is definitely a destroyed bearing inside the knuckle. Happened to me before I did my RPM upgrade.
True man. That butchering the rear one for a higher front is actually a great idea lol... I might just do that. I run this car hard and have paint wearing off in the wheel well
When the KB comes stock the notches are already at the last spot.
There are also really good tutorials on youtube explaining how to make these types of changes. Rcnightmare did a really nice one. (That is his youtube name).
I bought a multi tool hex wrench at ace hardware for 5.95... It is amazing, it's like a pocketknife and handles all applications on my traxxas vehicles including RPM knuckles.

Are the Duratrax bearings better in quality than the stock traxxas ones?
This happened to me last weekend. You will most likely find that your part #7020 bearing is busted. Do yourself and get the RPM knuckles and a new set of 7020 bearings.
