Anyone know if Merv arms/tires would fit with the stock Rally body and bumper? I'd like the handling and ride height, don't really care how it looks.

My solution was pretty simple. Cut a strip of black ribbon the length of the broken hinge. Super glue it along the length of the hinge. I saturated the strip to ensure a good bond. It'll be very...
Only problem I can see is the larger servo drawing too much power. Or the fact that I run masher2ks. Don't really care if its fast though, just want to get it functional again.
I wonder if the XL2.5+titan550 would work in an old Rustler. I've got one with a broken Novak SS brushless setup. Not really worth spending a whole lot to get it running again though.
That wasn't my problem. Lucky though, thats an easy enough fix.
I had a lot of trouble with this, as you can see.
I don't know for sure how I fixed it. I dismantled and reassembled the rear end over and over until it all worked. Pay particular attention to the...
This type of stuff, and also trying to keep a perfect circle drift going, while increasing or decreasing the size of it.
I tried jumping it, but never landed properly.

The one time someone would actually want to watch an unboxing.
Short grass works ok. I wouldn't do it a whole lot though. Long grass only works if you hit it already at speed. Maybe it would be better if you remove shock limiters to raise it.
I use them. They work pretty well on dirt, excellent on pavement, and great on hard snow/ice. They're my everyday tire. I only use the stock tires for drifting. I didn't remove my shock limiters, so...
After reassembling the diff enough times it works. I'm not touching that thing again if I can avoid it.
No go on that fix. I can either tighten the screws down to where the diff locks up, or back them off until it spins freely. Backing the screws off introduces the wobble. Maybe I'm missing something...
That'd be it. I tightened them down to try and make sure the ring gear was on completely straight.
Fixed it, introduced new problem though. The ring and pinion gears no longer bind. However, if I lift the tires off the ground, and spin either rear tire, all four tires will spin. Sometimes it will...
Find really smooth concrete thats either wet or dusty. Lower traction makes it easy to learn. Then transferring to higher grip surfaces you just learn to use a bit more throttle.
Thanks for the ideas, but those didn't solve the problem either. I think my car is cursed. Traxxas support was stumped too, they're checking with the lab manager.
Forgot to mention that. I've tried shimming both sides of the diff, didn't solve problem.
I began noticing increased friction in the drivetrain, along with overheating problems. Upon further inspection I isolated the friction to the rear drivetrain. Specifically the mesh between the...
I also tried fairly smooth cement. Didn't traction roll, but didn't slide easily either. All the rough surfaces are covered with snow currently.
What makes it better than the stock ESC?
Just tried Slash tires today. Works much better than stock for ice and up to 1/2" snow.
I've always charged my large NiMHs at around 3 amps. Will that speed work on the small guys, or should I dial the charger back a bit?
Untested idea: Cut up a low grit sanding belt, and glue onto tires. Itd be cheap and easy to test.

McMaster Carr also has some small DC fans.
Time to start casting your own I guess.
