Stripped reverse gears on both Revo's right away. Removed opti drive and went with FOC. Never had a problem after that, and I only bash. Miss the reverse once in a great while, not too often.

The throttle return spring does a fine job all by itself. I run with FOC and a TRS, thats it. 2 Revo's and 1 T-Maxx, never had a problem.
Finally broke my truck. Landed a back flip on the wing and snapped the body mount right off the truck.
Not bearings, everything is brand new, rolls freely. This truck was broke in and maybe 4 tanks after break in. Lot's of hard jumps and back flips. He was trying to break this thing and it wouldn't...
Broke in the new Revo, took it out and bashed the whole afternoon. Nothing broke, or at least we thought. Now we can't get it to run. It will start right up, idle until you hit the gas. Cuts off! New...
I use a hole saw while holding the body in my hand so its at an angle to meet up with the bit. I use a body reamer to center punch the hole or you can use a small drill bit.
Its like riding your motorcycle on a warm day with the face shield down and then open it up. AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! Much cooler. :D
I've been using the K&N cleaner and oil for 2 years now on our Maxx and Revo, stock filter and MS. Works great, never had a problem.
I use the proline ones w/o issue. 3 spacers on each axle. I bought a 23mm socket from Snap-On for $10. If you're on a limited budget then get the proline adapters. They'll be just fine. I bought them...
Not unless you go backward and forward constantly! :D
Traxxas 2055 ! WOW! and everybody uses 'em too. J/K:D
I use the HPI Roto Start on a T-Maxx and Revo. Never had an issue with either one. Works great for me.
Gotta love the Roto Start!

The Revo is a better basher. Doesn't break as easily with the stock parts. Bulk heads, motor mounts, spur gears......etc. I have 'em both, T-Maxx breaks a lot more stuff a lot more often.
$20?? Take it, that's a great price for that servo brand new. Digital.........IMO, not unless you have an aftermarket radio. For a faster throttle/brake go with a Hitec 925MG, 107oz & .08sec at...
I get the soldering + to - but on every battery and on both ends?
Will some batteries have more than 1 wire connected on the same end or what?
Just My Opinion! They will work great and be plenty fast. If you are racing you can get better and faster but not for under $100 for both of them.
I dyed my rocker arms black as well. Now they keep breaking. I don't know if the heat made them weak or it's just a weak point in the suspension anyway.
For under $100, the Hitec 645MG for steering and the 625MG for throttle/brake. JMO. About $38.99 each plus shipping online.
Gearing.................does he have it setup for speed or acceleration?
I run the Trinity black springs in the outside 4 corners and the stock red ones on the inside corners with 55wt oil.
As you can see, the entry is a bit on the steep side. I had my doubts after I built it but it works great. You can see the scratches on the ramp surface. My brother's T-Maxx has aluminum skids and he...
