I'm rebuilding my transmission and i'm going to try the posi diff mod. I'm wondering what type of gear lube i should use in my diff, i run mainly on the street.

It's square:lol: the price is good. They stopped making them backwards compatible, if it has two usb ports it's not backwards compatible.

I had that same problem, what i did was dremel that nob on the tranny till it made it strait.

If you do the vxl motor and the castle esc you will need to change the plugs. Also if you get the mamba max esc you need a 32 bit operating system to use the castle link<_<

Their should be a very tiny hole on the front. Bend a paper clip and stick it in and it should pop open.

Are you putting the pinion on so the grub screw tightens onto the flat part on the motor shaft?

On your pinion check and make sure that the screw isn't hitting the side of the spur. That happened to me and it made a weird noise.

The light is green on the esc until l hit the throttle then it goes out, all tabs are at zero.

Yes the motor works so it has to be something with the esc unless the radio could be messed up^_^

Yup the steering works, the motor feels fine though when i turn it by hand. When the motor is burnt up will it be hard to spin?

If you are getting nimh batteries they should be above 3300mah, that way you will get good speed and longer run times. spcracing.com has some good lipo and nimh batteries.

For the boot problem, put some dish washer soap on them then they slide in alot easier ( thanks for that coolecool) I also used q-tips to help push them through.
