it works, but obviously it aint no monster anymore. I did it to get a waterproof esc for bashing in snow and damp conditions, not really any puddle bashing and swimming haha. anyway i was surprised...
so, i am running traxxas nimh 7 cell 3000mah battery (8.4v). I have read around on here and have found a few debates of whether or not to run the car until it doesn't move, or to stop when you notice...
why would the castle motor take out the esc? all the research that i have done i cannot find a reason that it wont work, or cause problems.
this is kinda the idea i was having except with a vxl-3s hooked up to the monster motor
ok.. i dont run lipos so i am not all sure about the lingo associated with it, but what is a 4s or 6s?
that all answers my questions on the mm. but what about the vxl esc? will i be able to adapt that to the castle motor and run it? that would be real cheap. i already have that esc
is that esc waterproof? and what esc is it?
where would i go to get one of them.
Doesn't that void the warranty?
What is so great about the mamba monster esc? The reason i ask this is because it is not waterproof, and i was thinking when winter time comes around i would like to bash in the snow. Is there any...
Nitro? you are sure they will fit? just not sure about length?
So here is the deal: I have a slash (2wd) and I want to put monster jam wheels on it. The problem is they have different off-sets front to rear. So when you put them on the fronts are 1" wider (1/2"...
Bump? what does that mean?
Electrical tape works really well. Put it on the part of the body that touches the nerf bars and it works great. As far as the tires rubbing the body i lifted the body up a little with spacers in the...
thanks for the pics. we will see shortly i have the monster jam tires on order. i am assuming that i will have to get a different body. I am buying the tires off of ebay and the guy has them...
have you done this yourself? if so do you have pics? i am really interested in seeing what the bigger tires look like on a slash.
Has anybody played around with the monster jam wheels on a 1/10 slash 2wd? From what i understand is that all of the monster jam models are basically stampedes. Is that right? Anyway I read that they...
Why the maxx front end? I would prefer something that resembles more of a snowmobile. such as a slash 2wd or stampede 2wd type front suspension. I haven't seen a sled with dual front shocks. it...
Custom paint job from a pro-line body. Painted to rims to match also.

I don't understand why spinning wheels and not going anywhere heats the motor up any more than going top speed. same difference isn't it? the truck doesn't use air flow from speed to cool anything....
I think the whole idea of using special paint is for the flexibility of the body. If you have ever seen a real car with a busted up fender that is bent pretty hard, you can see the paint flaking off,...
