Hey! Who changed my screen name? I am not sure I like this.
Cool! Thanks for the post. That was me who brought it out to you and did the quick demo. I just want people to know what the QR-1 is really capable of once you become really familiar with it. ...
Thanks guys! As a Traxxas employee I can't tell you how excited I am that we have finally expanded into the r/c aviation market. I have been flying various types of airplanes for 29 years (built my...
Attention P.M. I recently repaired a DR-1 that was doing exactly what you describe. It was shaking at low rpm and wandering all over the place when in flight. It turned out that one of the pegs...
DSM2 is a spread spectrum protocol utilized by a specific remote control radio manufacturer. I cannot share any more detail than that on a Traxxas sponsored forum. I can also tell you that DSM2 is...
Check to make sure all 4 motors spin freely when you flick the props with your finger. If not, check the support page for the QR-1. There is a motor armature adjustment video that explains how to...

I had to put music in the background (or have no sound) because of an extremely loud and annoying barking dog on the other side of my back...
Challenge accepted! Starting from the floor I can pull off flips or rolls with the Traxxas QR-1 never exceeding 2 1/2 feet of altitude. The video is on youtube here:...
I found a G-Force calculator on-line and plugged in the numbers. A 10 pound vehicle moving at 100 mph would strike you with a force of 4995 pounds at the point of impact. We just want people to...
Ooops, sorry. I didn't even look at the pictures. I missed the Picco 26. Forget what I said about gearing.
2 sets of 5338R toe links. 2 sets of 5318X push rods. 1 set of 5133 red aluminum push rod spacers. The 5133 push rod spacers must be installed on the 5318X push rods to be used with P2 rockers. ...
14/38 or 15/38 would be a good place to start on the gearing. I run 14/38 because I like to have enough punch on the bottom end to wheelie easily. Yours will be pretty gutless from a standing start...
I agree. The fact that you landed upside down there is a good chance you have cracked or broken your engine mount. I would remove the engine from the mount and take the mount off and inspect it.
Thanks for the compliment! Good answer on this issue also.
I just thought it might help to hear it directly from a Traxxas technician. Like Nitronaught said, participation is always welcome!
Good answer. You can also use WD-40 to help diagnose an air leak in the front bearing.
That appears to be a 4-tec clutch bell. Remember, you can get a brand new Traxxas 2.5R for $85.00 + $5.00 by exchange if you have an old Traxxas .15, 2.5 or 3.3 to send in for the exchange.
I confirm, no oil in the tranny. The rubber plug in the top of the tranny is there to provide access to the shift point adjustment.
