This thread was very helpful. I will give it another shot, I think my problem is overtightening the v.small screws...
I am having the same prob. with my rear diff. Using new diff ring and pinion gears, new spider gears, new bearings, new dogbone cups, new driveshafts (CVD's) Re-using the old diff bulkhead..I tried...

Bent my CVD's at the skate park - worth it! also did speed run first time on 3s - awesome!
Thanks! I forgot to think of that.
Mate those 3 round plugs are tight the first time, all I can think is "pull harder" or wrap a rag around some pliers to get a better grip without tearing the coating off the wiring, also there is...
We have a few more ideas for creative photos so hopefully there will be more to come soonish, these exposures are between 2 sec. and 30 seconds w/ the camera shutter open...on a tripod obviously. ;)

I'm trying to not build a second, but keeping spare parts as spares - hard to resist...chassis and all...but I need alot of spares. <_<
MERV's are good because they fit in a back pac, or a carry bag. I take "her" for a walk, if she runs afoul somehow, in the bag and home to get TLC..

Unfortunately, I packed her up into several boxes to move house, but I was half way through a drivetrain re-build ( CVD's, bearings, and anything else I could see needing a going over. Now I'm stuck...

+1 to to E-Revo VXL 1/16! I have had one for over 12 months and now 2 of my inlaws have ordered one each for christmas. So I am glad for the company, and mine too! ;) Bring it on Guys!
Max Speed??
Cool idea......:)
The only thing I can add is, I have fit a V.G. rollcage under a stock shell with stock posts - but it is snug to say the least.

Good choice fella, the 1/16 E-Revo was my first R/C and it's my baby, and always will be. SO MANY options...have fun...^_^
I broke too many front bumper mounts (always have a spare now), but fixed the problem by driving better (and the "T" summit brace).

It adds a "customisation" / "pirsonalisation" feel. I don't regret it yet.
It's gonna be so fast that you could be a jet pilot, 50 cannot wait to see some run times man!! WOW. Scary fast, I agree.
this is what I replaced to fix my range prob. -My son broke off the end bit of co-ax. :((
