I use this during the summer months and its a direct fit.
I think he is saying that it has capacity limit of 5000mah not a 5amp charge rate. So traxxas was right, it needs a 2nd cycle to get a full charge.
Which charger do you have?
Do you have a video or picture its hard to tell what's going wrong without seeing it.
Yeah that's it.
I run my truck in 110 to 115 degree weather and heat is a concern of mine. I normally can run about 30 minutes at a time before I shut down to let everything cool once the motor reaches 160ish. So I...
From the sound of it you have two 3s batteries meaning youre running at 6s total. 4s or 5s would be a bit more on the tame side.
Run 4s or 5s
When I first got into rc my friend and I went bashing. My friend started up his t-maxx 2.5 with the remote turned off and it took off WOT across the park into a street and got crushed by a ups truck....
I have the Traxxas aluminum push-rods and tie-rods on both my revos and on one I have aluminum steering knuckles, along with rpm true tracks and rpm front arms my trucks can take a serious beating.
The way you described your suspension set up you shouldn't be getting any bucking in the rear end. The jumps are either too small or you need to work on your throttle control on the face of the jump.
I run my truck with the cover off(I feel that it keeps it cooler, but maybe it's just me). I would advise against the tighten it down all the way then back off method, it's too easy too over tighten...
It drops down to a lower current because as the packs voltage goes up and it's reaching maximum capacity its resistance goes up.
So what's needed to get it running? Tires and batteries?
If they didn't take the time to get it really clean before selling it they probably didn't take the time to take care of it.
I didn't know it turns on when you flip the switch. Ive never even seen mine turn on....crap....
You're assuming that those parts are bad and exaggerating the prices.
Diff $25 each
Slipper rebuild $10
From the sounds of it he doesn't have the funds to drop $800 on a brand new erbe. He can...
$279 new mamba
$25 traxxas 2.4ghz receiver
$42 2x traxxas 2075 servos
For a brushless erevo with a brand new motor/esc sounds like a good deal to me
They took away the nimbleness of the truck and made it feel more "tankish", other than that they had tons of traction. But I suppose if that's what you're looking for then go for it.
Think about getting those before dropping the money on them, they are BIG and HEAVY. I bought them for one of my revos a few years back and hated them
Sounds like a good deal. Are you going brushless?
What he did is just about your only option. I'd recommend getting Batts that fit with little to no modification.
And I don't know if your actually racing or just playing at the track, but there is a lot to weight to be lost in your batteries.
My 2s ******* 5800 mah batteries weigh 302grams...
The rpm true track set drops 32grams
If your just racing you can remove the bumpers ( I think the skids add enough protection for a track)
I'm not sure of the weight
I'd recommend getting...
