If ctvxl is factually correct, I agree wholeheartedly with him - there are so many rumours and scaremongering re lipo safety it's high time the facts get sorted from the BULL.

For all the non-believers check the shoot-out that Bigsquid did.
@Jakey
Is CTVXL correct in his statement that discharging to <3V/cell is not per se the danger, but rather charging up from such a low voltage?
Just be aware that many manufacturers bump their C ratings to boost sales. What you see is not always what you get.
Integy MSR9 shock spring set.

And the rating of the esc
That's about 34ft I'd say.
In the past I've always got done for customs & excise and VAT when ordering from Tower. This adds about another 25% to the landed price - so I'd really prefer to buy within the EU.
Looking to buy a 2.4ghz MERV with shipping to Europe. What's the cheapest online shop at the moment?
I think you have preload confused with a normal spacer.
Post 7 above.
So, instead of buying stiffer springs for the rear of my truck, I should have just cut a few coils off the stockers, right?<_<
@Jakey
Don't believe everything you think.
Decreasing/increasing the number of coils will only affect the spring rate provided the length stays the same. Simply cutting off a piece will only decrease the travel, that's all.

Exactly the type of thing I had in mind when I refered to flavor-of-the-month in a previous thread...:p
I think the bottom line here is that whilst these (cheap) batteries might not be top quality, there is a big market for them. Maybe the capacity and/or discharge rate aren't as high as claimed - not...
So a Traxxas Marshall is admitting that there's been a problem with the stock shocks for years, millions of which have been put on the market considering they're stock on nearly all Traxxas'...
I suggest you guys contact Traxxas and inform them of their sub standard shocks then. A product recall might be in order...:lol:
I don't want to be dragged down to the handbag fighting which...
I see a pattern alright.
Every once in a while a new craze pops up. Flavor of the month is aluminium shock caps, unless you're loaded with pocket money in which case it's big bore shocks.
There's nothing wrong with the stock plastic shock caps. The No.1 reason for them getting blown off is user error.
You would need to do the nitro rustler spindle conversion.
Too obvious but have you checked the steering trim?
The MSR9 spring set is excellent value for money seeing that you get 5 sets, that is 20 springs in total, for about $12-$14.
